Whew – well, we didn’t do too well in Week 1 of the CFL 2014 season unfortunately. One of those things where we probably over thought a lot of it – we WERE talking a lot about this season prior to it kicking off.

Take for example, Alouettes vs Stampeders. We really liked the Stampeders in that one – but then as time went on and the tips got closer and closer, the more we discussed it we tried to take the Alouettes side. It go to the point where even though we were big time in love with the Calgary Stampeders, we talked ourselves out of the game based on the 7.5 point spread, and went with the over instead. Unfortunately the Alouettes offense was weak, and we got screwed there.

It happens.

Week 2 of the CFL kicks off today, Thursday July 3rd with the REDBLACKS in action against the Blue Bombers. Then on Friday we’ve got a double header with the Lions taking on the Alouettes, and the Tiger-Cats facing the Eskimos.

Then Saturday will be a big game with the Roughriders visiting Toronto to take on the Argonauts.

If you want to know the best place to bet CFL it’s .

Let’s get to the betting tips for week 2 of the CFL 2014 season and bounce back in style:

REDBLACKS vs Blue Bombers Betting Tips:

Making their debut in the CFL, the REDBLACKS are on the road in Week 2 against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The REDBLACKS are +7 point underdogs with the Over/Under at 54.5 points.

The fact is there is questions about the REDBLACKS. And they’re going up against a hot Winnipeg team who on the road, defeated the Argonauts in a dominant fashion. Kelly and Willy especially were absolutely fantastic.

Have to go with Blue Bombers -7.

Lions vs Alouettes Betting Tips:

The Calgary Stampeders showed how strong they are defensively, as they shut down the Alouettes. It could be a different Alouettes team this week – the BC Lions didn’t look solid at all defensively last week against the Eskimos, with a lot of mistakes.

The Lions are slight favourites at -2.5 points with this one being in Montreal, and the Over/Under is 51 points.

We’re going with Over 51 points. Alouettes offense was fine last week – the Stampeders D was just a beast. We like this to be a much more open and high scoring game.

Tiger-Cats vs Eskimos Betting Tips:

Hamilton got off to a very poor start, being dominated 31-10 by the Roughriders. The sack game as brutal with 10 sacks throughout the game. Eskimos looked very solid in their win over the Lions, and Chris Jones could be what Edmonton needs to qualify this season.

I think we have to go with the Eskimos here. They looked very solid last week, and beat a tough BC Lions team. That confidence will hopefully come into play here – Eskimos -3.5.

Roughriders vs Argonauts Betting Tips:

The Roughriders dominated big time last week, while the Argonauts had a very poor performance.

Points is the name of the game here though, and both teams offensively should be racking them up.

Over 54 points.
